Granby Cable Co. was founded in 2023 with a simple mission—build better pedalboard cables for players who care about their sound.

It all started when Ben, a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music with a degree in audio engineering, got deep into building out his personal pedalboard. Like many gear heads, he started chasing cleaner layouts, better signal paths, and fewer tone killers. After ordering a DIY cable kit online, he quickly realized he could source higher-quality components and build something even better himself.

What started as a personal project soon turned into a passion. After building cables for friends—and anyone else willing to take one—Ben launched Granby Cable Co. to bring premium, customizable patch cables to players everywhere.

We started with the basics: 6" low-profile patch cables built with pro-grade Mogami wire and SquarePlug connectors. But when Ben couldn’t find a reasonably priced coiled patch cable anywhere online, he started making them by hand—and customers took notice.

Today, Granby Cable Co. proudly builds and ships high-quality cables to players all across the United States. Every cable is made by hand in Massachusetts with premium materials and attention to detail you can hear.
